In my hammock

I wanted to share something. Bigger than myself but perfect for the two of us. I feel like my chance has been missed. While I am being cut and polished, your eyes rest on the pyrite. I could never compete.

While pressure made me stronger and more beautiful, im too much of an investment. Misunderstood easily because of my cold exterior. There’s a volcano under this gem and more than one way to make it come out. But why would you settle for the warm, long lasting sparkler when you’ve already harnessed the white hot firecracker?

Otherwise known as Heaven

One of my favorite shops in the galaxy is Uncommon Objects. It’s a bric-a-brac shop, selling everything from vintage household objects to amazing old signposts… and the best vintage jewelry ever. I always walk out with at least a few things. The lockets, in particular, were super-tempting to me this time around. I almost bought the lion’s head and crest lockets… but splurged instead on a few chokers. More pictures to come…
